American Trust Insurance Celebrates Anniversary By Giving Back

The Huron location of American Trust Insurance is celebrating its 10 year anniversary.  Back in 2005, the agency got it roots after several independent insurance agents located in Huron merged together.

“A few months ago, when we started planning for our anniversary, we decided to not make the celebration about us.  We thought it should be about the people living in and around Huron that have supported our agency and helped us become successful, “says Preston Steele, President of American Trust Insurance.  “We asked our employees to nominate organizations that could benefit from a donation from our agency.  The nominees were paired down to four organizations and then we let the public vote on our Facebook page on who should win,” says Steele.

After tallying the votes, the winners are:

Steele adds, “It’s one of our business’s core values to give back to the communities where our agencies are located.  So this contest was a natural fit.”
