Rising Country Star to Open for The Band Perry at SD Fair

LoganMize1The South Dakota State Fair and Legend Seeds welcome Logan Mize as opener for The Band Perry at the SD State Fair Grandstand on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015.

Hailing from Clearwater, Kansas, Logan Mize delivers a blistering live show with his commanding onstage presence. His influences include everything from Elton John to Garth Brooks and the Stone Temple Pilots. His open-minded philosophy on music gives him a broad range of style and excellent talent.

Mize’s burst on to the stage in 2009 with his self-titled debut album and has been rocking the country world ever since. His most recent release, Pawn Shop Guitar, debuted just a few weeks ago with the hit “Can’t Get Away with a Good Time.”

“Logan Mize is the finishing touch to a strong line-up.  We are excited for him to open up for The Band Perry,” said State Fair Manager Peggy Besch.

The SD State Fair Win ‘Em Before You Can Buy ‘Em promotion is back for 2015. Area radio stations will have tickets available for giveaway June 15-19 before tickets go on sale to the general public. Pre-sale on tickets will begin June 15 for backrest holders followed by Friends of the Fair ticket sales on June 18. General public ticket sales will begin June 22. Tickets are available at the SD State Fair office or online at www.sdstatefair.com.

The 2015 South Dakota State Fair will run from Thursday, Sept. 3, through Monday, Sept. 7. Channel Seeds Preview Night will be Wednesday, Sept. 2. This year’s theme is “Sew it. Grow it.
