Huron’s newest restaurant officially opened it’s doors last Thursday and the initial reaction from the public, who have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to dine at Bucky’s Restaurant and Lounge, has been positive.
It has been a long time coming for Jason Buckmaster, who has invested countless man hours into transforming the old Mulligan’s location, 256 Wisconsin Avenue S.W, into a sit down restaurant and lounge.
“We ripped up five layers of floors and all the wiring, lighting, plumbing and HVAC are brand new. We put a 24 x 35 addition for the kitchen. People have been pretty awestruck when they step in here for the first time.”
Bucky’s offers a unique menu which Buckmaster promises will expand even more in the future.
Currently, Bucky’s Restaurant and Lounge is open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6am-10pm. The lounge is open until 2am Mon.-Sat. and mid-night on Sundays.
