The Leadership Huron class of the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau is hosting a popular holiday concert: Holiday Jam with the Hegg Brothers, Sunday, December 13, in Huron.
This musical showcase features the talents of a multi-piece band playing Christmas classics and contemporary new arrangements in the lush, funky and soulful sounds of Jeremy and Jon Hegg and friends. 2015’s theme will focus on “Coming Home.”
Holiday Jam is a long-running holiday tradition that continues to highlight new musical twists. This two-hour show features stories of the season, messages for the heart, and music to lift the spirits. This year’s tour again includes horns, sax, piano, guitar and percussion to round out the ensemble.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 at the Huron Chamber & Visitor’s Bureau, or from any Leadership Huron Class Representative. All proceeds from the event will support Leadership Huron’s theme of donating for disabilities. The 2016 class will install “Sway Fun” playground equipment at Central Park, which will offer a creative solution for persons with disabilities to have recreational opportunities in Huron. In the heart of donating for disabilities, the Leadership Huron class will also sponsor 10 children at Hope Ranch this summer. Hope Ranch is a thereputic horseback riding program for children and adults with disabilities.
