In this busy world, it’s nice to have a little help keeping track of everything your community has to offer. Helpline Center is doing just that with its new program, text2know.
Text2know answers the questions people may not even know they have, says Betsy Schuster, Helpline Center Vice President of Program Development. “In a sense, we are bringing 211 to your smart phone.” The text2know program will launch August 17 in Beadle County.
Text2know works like this – residents in Beadle County will text 211beadle to 898211. They will then receive weekly reminder texts about services and events in their community.
Weekly texts might include a reminder about flu shots or deadlines for holiday assistance programs. Text2know is just one more way Helpline Center helps connect community members with the programs and services available to them. The text2know texts will be sent each Wednesday.
To learn more about text2know, contact Betsy Schuster by dialing 211 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
